Description
1971 Saab 99 1854cc 87hp LHD 37000Km Middle Blue
Designed by the famous Swedish industrial designer Sixton Sason, an extremely rare newly restored early Saab 99 in B7H Middle Blue. With its aerodynamic body, clamshell bonnet, curved aircraft windscreen and Italianate mental front grill and lamps, these early 99s were extraordinarily strong being made from thick high-quality low-carbon British steel. Unveiled in 1967 this early 99 model comes with the 1854cc slant 4 manual carburettor 4 speed petrol engine.
Overhauled by Cromwell Saab and Two Stroke to Turbo including service, electronic ignition kit, new rocker gasket, new brake callipers, new shocks, carburettor rebuild and extensive electrical repairs, radiator refurbishment, this car will be MOT’d to June 2022 and runs like a 99 should run. Repainted in its original Saab middle blue, reupholstered in matching velour seat material and with all its original chrome trim and rally lights this is a fabulous example of a restored early 99.
