A rare opportunity to purchase a highly original example of this much loved classic with extensive restoration, repair and maintenance records. Only 498 ever manufactured in the 4 seater configuration.

Copies of original titles from MG with original engine 1536AP – engine plate designated ‘B’ as engine upgraded by MG Jan 1936 to incorporate side-mounted Marshall supercharger, copies of communications between MG, Marshalls and owner available. Supercharger no longer present although double front pulley fitted.

Original buff log book, current V5 and MOT. Lovely historic records of ownership and documentation inc sales brochures, factory repair manuals and photographs.

Purchased by present owner in 1993, with meticulous attention to repairs and maintenance, refurbishment and restoration to a very high standard, including engine rebuild and bare metal respray. Comprehensive record of work done since 1978.

There is a full canvas hood and frame, full tonneau, optional aero screens and full weather side screens.

The car was originally purchased by xxxx of Rumney Cardiff on 22nd Feb 1935 from City Motors Cardiff. City Motors acquired the PA from Abingdon on Jan 1935 with documentation available and original titles.
The PA has undergone ongoing repairs and restoration over the period of its current ownership from the 1993, including engine rebuilding, new cam and clutch, front and rear body restoration and repairs inc full bare metal respray, rewire and loom replacement, rear diff and axle refurbishment, and braking system overhaul

Jan 1936 Mr. XXXX of Amersham, Buckinghamshire who sent the engine to The MG Car Co Ltd. For an engine overhaul which included work to the Marshall supercharger fitted to the car at that time and a re-bore. The re-bore cost £15. 00.

1948 Mr XXXX of Whalley, Lancashire.
There is a brass plaque on the dashboard with the name “Norman Black, Sprosen Ltd. 109 Gt. Portland Street, London” a car dealership founded by Norman Black who was racing driver in the 1930's driving MG's, Singers etc.
