Bought by me in 2013 with 40, 000 miles on the clock after a long search for a top-notch 325/ 330 convertible. It was one of the best available then and there are even fewer really good ones about now.
I was attracted to the specification and colour scheme - I think light exterior colours and light coloured leather are more practical for a car that is going to be used in the sunshine.
Five previous owners, the first was the supplying dealer, Williams of Manchester, then a lady owner who kept it for 4 years (followed by a gentleman who kept it for 2 years, another lady owner for a year).
I have added 20, 000 miles during my ownership - the car has not been a daily driver and has only been used in the drier months and has not been driven in salt during the time I have owned it. It is excellent underneath and I cannot see any signs of rust on the bodywork, which is excellent - there just a tiny dent on the boot lid that was there when i bought it!
I reckon the wheels were refurbished at some point before I bought it, they are still very good - they are not kerbed, there's just a little deterioration in a few places.
There is dealer service history for up 40, 000 miles. I have a background in car repair/ restoration so have maintained the car from that point on - it has had regular fluid and filter services etc. and a couple of minor repairs (new coil packs after one failed and a couple of new brake pressure sensors). It has never left me stranded anywhere. The car has been in to the main dealer a couple of times for the BMW recalls for airbag replacements (passenger & driver).
