Kawasaki Z250A 1981 Custom Scrambler.
Full rebuild form the ground up. All bearings / seals / Rubbers (including engine mounts) replaced. New Chain / Sprockets / Clocks / Exhaust / Lights / throttle / Mirror / Switch gear / etc.
Airbox removed and bell carbs fitted. Ignition chanced, swapped to modern electronic ignition. Bespoke seat. Matching Grips.
New parts were sourced from Germany (Cult following).
Running Original wheels fitted with Continental TKC 80 M&S tyres.
Engine was stripped and rebuilt. Original clocks showing 30, 928 Miles. Has done 331 miles since rebuild in 2022. I MOT'd her after the rebuild for Peace of mind. She is MOT & TAX Exempt. I used her for the Distinguished Gentlemans ride last May and she has been in storage since. As a consequence the rear brake is not working (Probably has sized the pistons in the caliper). Easy fix.
Warning, she is LOUD!! if you dont want to pi** your neighbours off, don't buy it! the wife will know your nearly home 5 minutes before you get there!
She turns heads everywhere she goes, is a laugh to ride and can scare the crap out of you at 40mph if you throw it into a corner! Knobbly tyres!!
She is small. I am 5'8 and sit flat foot and knees bent.
Space needed (apparently 5 bikes is to many and if i want another one, 1 has to go!).
