For sale is my 2005 Facelift MR2 Roadster with hardtop in Astral black. 3 previous owners, MOT untill Nov 24, 109, 500 miles and 13 service history stamps.
Its just had fresh oil and oil filter, air filter and front discs and pads.
This being the FL model means it does away with the pre-cat, oil burning issues of the earlier cars and has revised handling, wheels, body and a much better 6 speed box.
This car also comes with a highly desirable hardtop (the soft top underneath is immaculate) These are circa £1400 on eBay.
The car drives incredibly well, really gets going and handles as you would expect, starts nicely with no horrible noises from engine or gearbox.
The interior is in nice condition with the red leather seats (drivers seat does have some age related wear) the electrical aerial doesn't seem to work.
The body is rust free, especially on the arches etc, there are some age related stone chips to the bonnet, a scratch to the front wheel arch and some age related wear. No dents or damage though. However, as you can see its very presentable. I'm probably being over-cautious but everyones idea is different.
The rear wheels are a little scabby and the rear tyres are getting low so in my mind you would refurb the back two and get two new tyres.
The car comes with a stamped (12 stamps) Toyota service book, two keys and V5 in my name at my home address.
The reason for sale is simple, my wife and I are going to do a road trip to Scotland and I always wanted to do it in something convertible/ interesting, unfortunatley she has taken one look at the non existent boot and basically said its just not pratical for 3 weeks away. Personally, I could hold all my lifes belongings in it but alas Im not going to argue so we have purchased an MX5.
In my opinion this is by FAR the better drivers car, super engaging and a more interesting thing to pull up to the petrol pumps in.

Thanks, Simple, its a mid-engined rear wheel drive convertible sports car, sounds cliche but its 80% of the fun an Elise for 20% of the money... a car you can actually use and enjoy rather than being worried about damage and large repair bills.
