Description
CITROEN DS ID 20 D SUPER 1. 985 C. C. , 67 KW 91 hp registered 21-Jan-70 colour BLEU PLATINE METALLIC cod. AC632, the car has belonged to only one owner before me, it was restored by the previous owner 25 years ago and has been used very little since the restoration, then it has been on display for about 20 years. When I bought the car, I had the entire cooling system rebuilt, including the cylinder head, ignition system with new cables, braking system, petrol supply, replaced all the suspension balls, fitted 5 new MICHELIN XAS 180/ HR 15 89 H tyres, replaced the complete electrical system, new silencers, carried out the administrative overhaul and participated in various rallies many kilometres from my residence, without the car having given the slightest problem. It has no traces of rust or corrosion, it runs smoothly with a comfort that no vintage car has ever given me. It used to belong to a friend of mine, and I couldn't bear to see it sitting around, so I courted him mercilessly for several years until he finally gave in out of exhaustion. I enjoyed it for a while, now I've moved on to another open sports car and I need space in the garage. It is considered a masterpiece of world car history, placed in the Olympus of timeless beauties. Interviewed, many of the most famous designers say it is the car they would have liked to have designed. According to the daily newspaper La Repubblica, it ranks among the ten classic cars to invest in. The first two generations have skyrocketed, but the third series, more mature than its predecessors, is still a good investment with rising prices in the long term.
