My T2 Bay was first registered on the 29th March 1973. It is a historic vehicle and is DVLA Tax and MOT Exempt. It has a 4 speed manual gearbox.
I purchased the Bay in 2013 and fitted a fully overhauled 1. 7L engine shortly after purchase which has done 25000 trouble free miles since run-n with no breakdowns! The current mileage on the odometer is just over 9000 miles having been round the clock once. It is in excellent running order and starts first time.
The only outstanding mechanical issue are the heat exchangers which are in need of replacement at some point. This is reflected in the asking price.
The rocker bed is in good order with the additional flatbed ‘up top’. Everything else works well.
The Bay has undergone extensive bodywork and internal restoration from November 2022 to October 2023 with over £20000 spent. I have tried to maintain as much originality as possible. The work included new:

This is a beautiful 51 year old T2 Bay which has been very recently lovingly restored to it’s original glory over 10 months and is ready for another 50+ years of fun. We have had so much fun in our Bay and will be very sad to see her go.
