It is unusual to find such an original unmolested example which has survived the test of time so well.
Originally purchased by its only owner back in September 1998 from Hendy Honda in Exeter where it has returned for service and MOT year on year.
The condition of the car both inside and out tells the story of how well this car has been loved and cared for in its life. Garaged from day one really shows as the original dealer stickers as still in the windows and haven’t faded. Windscreen is original with factory etching and dealer fit ‘supaguard’ sticker.
The exterior is superb and the paintwork very bright, it has had some professional refinishing as there were a few marks and chips due to age.
The wheels have had the faces refurbished matching the original paint code so are now perfect.
Original dealer plates are still present front and rear.
The interior is excellent with no signs of wear and tear, the seats are as they left the factory and as it has been garaged show no signs of fading.
The boot and rear seat do not look like they have ever been used.
The radio has been replaced with a modern Pioneer Bluetooth unit however the original is included with the car. - no wires were cut for installation.
Specification is very good with air con, electric pack, cruise control and a glass tilt and slide sunroof.
Mechanically this is the model everyone wants, 2. 2 VTI, manual gearbox with four wheel steering makes it a pleasure to drive, plenty of power and superb handling.
There is an abundance of paperwork and service history dating back to day one nearly all from the Honda main dealer, all keys are present and still have the main dealer key rings attached . The elusive ’red key’ is here and still sealed.
