Description

Description: Undoubtedly one of the inner-circle of famous Jensen FF cars. This Jensen FF MK. III is one of just 15 MK. III FFs made, and has always been the ‘Holy Grail’ of Jensen FFs to own.

130/ 322 was ordered by the first owner, Lord Verulum in Royal Blue with blue trim. He had been an enthusiast FF owner, having previously purchased a MK. I FF, then MK. II before purchasing a MK. III. The MK. III was kept by Lord Verulum until his death in 1973. The car was acquired for the Jensen Museum in 2009, and has been kept in dry storage since that time. This is a solid car, which starts and runs. The car had work undertaken to the chassis tubes , and also had new sills fitted prior to acquisition by the Museum. There is some rust to the rear wheel arches, and the paintwork is generally tatty. The car requires a respray and recommissioning. See below for condition reports:

Condition mechanical: The car drives smoothly, and with excellent oil pressure. The brakes are in working order, and still retain the original Dunlop system. The cooling system operates exactly how it should, and the cooling fans come in at the correct point, cool the system down and cut out correctly. The air-conditioning isn’t working, although the compressor itself is operational.

Condition electrical: All the electrical components work, including the radio / 8 track player.

Condition body: The car is structurally sound. There is some rust to the lower wheel arches. There are a few rust bubbles typically to the bonnet. Generally the bottom of the panels are rust free, and the sills are sound. The paintwork is scruffy, particularly to the front. The paint towards the back looks as though it is original royal blue paint. The vinyl roof is the original one piece covering from new. The vinyl is in excellent condition, and there are no areas of lifting, or signs of any rust from underneath.

Notes: We have placed both our Jensen FF MK. III cars up for sale, however, we will only be selling one, and keeping one. Both cars have excellent histories, and which ever car sells first, we will then keep the other one.

You can read the full history about Jensen FF 130/ 322 on the Jensen Museum website.
