Beautiful Dutch 2002 in very original condition. Delivered new by BMW dealership Asmoco and traded in again there. The BMW dealer thought this 2002 was so unique that he added the car to his collection and kept it all these years. So the 2002 is in his possession for 33 years!
The exterior has been repainted in the past in the original colour "Polaris metallic" and that is very nicely done. Under the bonnet and on the original windscreen there are still all the original stickers. The paintwork looks very good with a few signs of use.
The interior is completely original and a real time capsule. The original fabric upholstery is in a very good condition and even the leatherette parts and headrests are quasi like new. The original dashboard is completely undamaged and all gauges work as they should. The rear seat and the headliner have some stains, but that's okay after 51 years. The hinged rear windows are a nice touch.
The M10 4 cylinder has defined the classic BMW feel since 1965. A modern reliable engine that provides sporty performance. In this 2002, the engine was completely overhauled and has covered just 533 km since the overhaul. All invoices are present for inspection. Technically, this BMW is in excellent condition anyway, and you notice that while driving. The current owner has had everything that was needed done: including a new clutch, water pump, radiator, hoses, starter motor and fuel pump. Private sales and a fair price!
