I have now had the injection pump removed, (recon available on ebay for about £600) Had new cambelt less than 30, 000 miles ago .
A good van for someone who wants to invest in it, not abused or ex builders etc.
I have tried to get rid of P. O. A but failed, see below for price expectation, offers around £600 accepted.
I have owned this van for 7 years and it has been faultless apart from needing a new alternator last year and a new clutch 4 months ago, both of which I had done. It has an M. O. T. until next November 2024 and is totally solid. Tyres are good , wheels also. It is free from any rot and the body is good with just a slight graze on drivers side. Seats are not ripped or soiled and there are 'tie down' rings in the back.
The engine is very good, no smoke or unpleasant noises. The gearbox is also good, as is the drive train. Has also had new discs and calipers in my ownership, anything needed was done.
That is the good news, recently it started and immediately stopped 1st thing in the morning, which had never happened before, but then re-started and was fine all day. This happened for 3 mornings but then on 4th it would not start and the AA tell me the fault code reader says 'injection pump' fault.
I am now retired and hope someone will take it on and sort it out as it is a good van. I Will Accept A Reasonable Offer, pick up only and cash, please
A couple of other small points, screen is cracked( has been for 3 years, not mot failure) and the remote key packed up a few months ago but central locking works fine on key. I have been very happy with this van and it has service history and has been maintained by a well respected garage where I have been a customer for the last 50 years .
