Ownership
1st ownership 4/ 09/ 1970 - 28/ 11/ 2018
2nd ownership 28/ 11/ 2018 - 5/ 02/ 2019
3rd onwership 5/ 02/ 2019 - up to date.
Body
Car had a colour change from 'Colorado Orange' to dark Grey by first owner 10 years ago. Paint is still in excellent state and in 2019 had a professional polish.
The chromes and the rubber glass seals and all windows are original and in excellent condition.
The underside, floors, sills, wheel arches are original still with the BMW factory sealant and paint.
Engine
Original M10 with no modifications.
Starts and runs immediately with no issues or leaks.
Gearbox
Shift smoothly with no noises or missed gearchanges.
Electrics
Front and rear lights, signal, reverse, horn, interior lighting, instruments, heating blower are all in good working condition.
The heating controls are not working.
Brakes
Brake callipers recently overhauled are in very good condition with firm pedal feel.
Hand brake functional.
Interior
The front and rear seat leatheret was renewed in 2018 by the same colour as the original. Door covers and chromes are original and very good with no signs of excessive wear or discolouration.
Floor carpets are new.
Tyres
Barum Brillantis 2 185/ 60/ 13 date (43/ 18) 1500kms covered from fitting.
Steering is very good and acurate
In general car works very well with no issues at all can be a daily driver.
Maintenance history
February 2019
All fluids and filters change including coolant, new spark plugs, carburator overhaul, new windshield water wiper motor, new battery, new tyres. new BMW exhaust silencer.
November 2019
Engine oil change, gearbox oil change, fuel tank emptied and cleaned including fuel lines. repair of fuel indicator.
June 2021
Front brakes overhaul, new clutch cable.
March 2022
Oil change with filter.
May 2023
