1967 Lotus Elan S3 DHC . Fully restored. Owned by myself for 35 years. Recently featured on Channel 5 - The Car Years, with Vikki Butler Henderson. The car is in exceptional condition having done less that 1000 miles since complete nut and bolt restoration. The restoration was carried out over 15 years !! The car was completely restored by Gary Dunlop Motorsport, with a new Spyder chassis and many performance upgrades. The bodywork is perfect with exceptional paintwork. The engine, gearbox , differential ( with limited slip differential) and brakes have been fully rebuilt. Engine is very high spec with QED gas flowed head. Tony Thompson big bore manifold and full exhaust system. The car has never been out in the wet, and is in exceptional condition. Only downside- I never got round to buying side windows for the car as was never planning to take it out in the rain. There is a new unused mohair hood with the car, hood frame, and rear tonneau. Bills for restoration over £27, 000, excluding the painting which was £4000 and the price of the original car. Good history file with all receipts. I am only selling as I do not get enough use out of the car, and need the space . An amazing little car in exceptional condition with awesome performance. Priced to sell at £32, 500.
