FOR SALE my beautiful 2. 3 Granada Consort with a silky smooth Cologne V6 engine and auto gearbox. Pre-facelift model with extras flung at it by Ford (who were bringing out the "updated" version) - Spotlights, sunroof, two-tone paint and chromey bits (WOW!) MOT until June 2026.
This car had it's MOT at a PROPER classic friendly garage in Essex that I've used for all my cars for the last 36 years.
It is SO comfortable.... like driving an armchair (not that I've ever driven an armchair but I have SAT in Ed China's mini-powered road legal armchair car). Lovely condition inside and out and draws admiring looks wherever it goes. There are a few very minor blemishes but it is "rust free" and the guys at the MOT garage stated that it was "remarkable" underneath. No welding.
Since I bought it in December 2020 I have got everything working as it should. New exhaust, brake pads, washer motor, fuel pump, tie rod bushes, propshaft doughnut, heater blower resistor, Falken tyres/ tracking and head gaskets as it was overheating due to clogged waterways that have now been cleaned. Propshaft balanced and self-serviced with oil and fluids. Bilt-Hamber undersealed (including door voids) due to its amazing underneath condition.
The engine burbles and kicks down correctly to give a performance comparable to the thirstier 2. 8 but with better fuel consumption.
Comes with no prior history but seeing and driving is believing. Also comes with any spiders and spare change lurking behind the seats FREE OF CHARGE!
Located between M20 (J8) and M2.
The car is registered HISTORIC so is tax and MOT exempt.
