Description
Sadly the time has come to sell my beloved Mazda Rx7 Efini. After owning ‘Black Beauty’ for 18 years I’ve decided to sell her from lack of use. From watching the first ‘Fast & Furious’ film and flicking through the pages of ‘Max Power’ magazines I knew the Mazda Rx7 was the car I wanted. Now finding the best one available in the UK was next. So after many months of searching and test driving I found the one I own in Swansea. Imported from Japan with a great report I knew this was the one for me so I purchased it on the 6th August 2004 from GLC Autos with 101725 kilometres on the clock.
In December 2004 decided to take her to Pip at WGT Autodevelopments for him to run his expert eye over her. If you know your Rx7’s then you know Pip, is one of the top experts, if not the best, on these cars. I was pleased to learn that the car was in great condition but recommended having the Apex seals looked at due to the mileage of the engine. So she was booked in for any repairs needed to the seals and tested on the rolling road for the strength of the engine with pleasing results.
In 2005 i decided to put my own stamp on the car taking it from standard looking with a few modifications. Starting with Mazdaspeed steering wheel, climate control knobs and clear turning lamps from Rotary Performance.
In March 2005 an oil and filter change was carried out by WGT in compliance with the advice from Pip after the rotary tips were repaired.
June 2006 saw another full service again carried out by the experts at WGT with a new aluminium radiator supplied by WGT in 2007. Also in 2007 a new clutch master cylinder was fitted.
From 2007 the car wasn’t used much due to a change in career so was stored away and rarely used as you can see from the mileage.
2013 saw me using the car a little more and having the apex seals reconditioned after the fuel pump failed on the car due to the age of the pump.
In 2015 I started to use the car and fall back in love with her so decided to have a professional respray to bring out the brilliant black colour again.
After a few years saving up I then treated her to a Seibon carbon fibre bonnet, Knight Racer Spec R2 front bumper with matching rear quarter panels and side steps. Late indicator lights were also added to improve the look.
I still wasn’t finished in 2019, Airlift suspension was fitted enabling the car to be raised or lowered at the touch of a button using the Performance 3P Management Package.
When in use she has been dry stored throughout my ownership keeping her safe and dry. It is currently stored in an indoor secure parking facility so I would need plenty of notice for viewings so I can bring the car home.

Some bad bits.
Very small amount of wear on drivers seat bolster.
Small tear in the rear leather seat, which is covered up by the seat belt so is difficult to see.
The rev counter needle can be a little temperamental, which if you know these cars is a common thing.
Video available of the car, contact me and I will send it on.
The car will come with 12 months MOT.
