Description
This is an extremely rare right hand drive 1300 Giulietta T. I. (Turismo Internazionale) Saloon. These versions were assembled in South Africa by CDA (Car Distributors Assembly). The cars arrived in SA as a CKD kit (Completely Knocked Down) in order to escape local taxes and import duties. It is unknown how many were assembled in South Africa, some say under 500. The SA assembled cars are immediately identified by the fact that they were all floor shift manuals, with cream colour dashboards, the LHD Ti's were all column shift and had body colour dashboards.
The car we have for sale was part of a large Italian car collection for many years. It was painted at some stage in the last 30 years but the interior and rest of the car remains largely original. As far as can be assertained, the car retains its original motor and gearbox. We have recently recommissioned the car after long term dry storage and all receipts are available on request.
The body is dead straight and there is absolutely no rust in the car, or signs of previous accidents or body work. The chrome and glass are very good, and it still retains the original factory information sticker on the front windsceen! 60 year old Alfas's in this condition don't come up very often.
We ship to the UK and the rest of the world, references available on request.
