1998 Ford Scorpio Ultima 2. 3 Auto
Extremely rare car. Now one of only 22 left in the UK of the 2. 3 Auto and only 80 Scorpio Ultimas overall (See howmanyleft. co. uk )

Just clicked through 129, 000 miles & MOT until June 2025
Fantastic condition for it’s 26+ year age. Full service history of almost all Ford Main Dealer origin. She was off the road & in dry storage for 10 years between 2012 & 2022 after light cosmetic damage. This has now all been professionally sorted out by Bradley James Classics of Hampshire with invoices to back this up.
Recent new battery & front tyres (Pirelli). Two spare part worn Pirelli tyres included with good tread left. She had a new inlet manifold & injectors fitted just before going off the road in 2012 so this has hardly been used. She starts and drives on the button. Eats up motorway cruises at under 2, 500 rpm at 70. Almost silent on tick over at the lights - only touching the steering wheel confirms the engine is still running via tiny normal vibration. Silky smooth gearbox, almost impossible to notice the changes.
Huge original spec on this car which is almost all working apart from the Sunroof, Aircon and Sports gearbox setting. Sale includes a spare working sunroof that is just needs fitting. Comes with a box full of other spare parts and even an original 1998 Scorpio Sales Brochure in immaculate condition.
Originally registered with a private WFC plate with some link to Watford Football Club. Might have just been a fan I guess but could be interesting history to further investigate.
The scarcity of this car means that if kept in this condition she can only go up in value. Old 80’s and 90’s Fords are now particularly sought after and should make a great investment over the next 5 to 10 years.
In the meantime, this Scorpio Ultima can be a practical and usable classic for summertime shows etc.
Much loved car and extremely reluctant sale but it’s only because I no longer have the space or the time to dedicate to this lovely old Ford.
