INTERIOR CONDITION.
This was deemed to be in good condition, with evidence of light wear to the driver`s
seat. The rear seats appear to have been unused, all door cards and side trims were
in very good condition. All dials and switches were operating,. The original 8 track
sound system as fitted from new still works.
EXTERIOR CONDITION.
The owner had owned this vehicle since 2014, Prior to purchase the vehicle had
undergone a full repaint, which had been completed to a professional standard. The
paintwork still retains a high gloss finish. Light pitting was noted to the rear bumper
but this would polish out, all the remaining chrome was in good condition. The alloy
wheels were in good condition with no kerbing damage or marks.
The engine was started and soon settled into a normal idle, the oil pressure reading
was noted to be very good . A recent addition was the fitment of the upgraded electric
cooling fans. The owner had also replaced the top and bottom hoses, water pump,
alternator, starter, radiator, washer bottle, n/ s/ f brake calliper, both door window
regulators and waxoyled the underside. All servicing and repair work had been
carried out at Bridge Motors Cardiff.
The present owner had invested thousands of pounds in maintaining and upgrading
the vehicle. From 2013 the Jensen had passed all its annual MOT`s with no
advisories
CONCLUSION
This classic car is in above average condition for its year, and can either be used or
stored as a future investment. This valuation has been researched on specialised
websites for this marquee. I would therefore recommend a valuation of £46, 500 for
this vehicle vehicle.
