Rare opportunity to aquire an early Sunbeam Stiletto in what most people consider the best factory colour, Turquoise Blue.
First registered in April 1968, and with the current owner for over thirty years.
An early B301 numbers matching Stiletto. Original HCO coded twin carb engine - numbers matching to the original factory VIN plate. Rootes Colour Code 127 (turquoise blue) shown on the VIN plate. Recently issued V5c, along with an older V5c and other documents retained by the owner are with the vehicle.
The interior is original, with period speakers. Requires some bodywork restoration and comes with a set of rear wheel arch repair panels, gaskets etc. The rear number plate mount and original air filter housing is present. Rear screen is perspex. I have not had this car on a ramp to inspect it thoroughly but the vehicle appears to need new outer sills, rear wheel arch panels and some less structural areas of bodywork. The front spare wheel well area appears good and the boot trims and fixtures appear highly original. Paint apprears to be original. The Stiletto was dry stored in a well ventated garage for many years until a subsequent house move.
The vehicle rolls fine and is suited to easy access for collection by trailer.
