Description

If you’re looking for a restoration project then this is it. The car is in drive away condition with two sets of the original keys. This has been in the family since new and only had three names and one surname on all of its registrations. Full provenance can be supplied in the form of documents and photographs.

The car has been involved in no major accidents; worst known was the tragic story of the gate, the hill, the handbrake not applied and the plaintive “Do you love me?” phone call. Car is original as it could be after more than 60 years and contains original jack, tool kit and manuals, in their original plastic folder, as well as a fuel consumption log. The engine, gearbox and drive chain have never been opened.

Known defects:
Temperature gauge doesn’t work,
Driver’s door lock is loose,
Spring on the bonnet badge is broken (original badge supplied).

A set of non-standard seat recliners have been fitted along with a floor mounted button to activate the windscreen water pump. The car has been garaged for the last 20 years and prior to that it was in daily use and garaged at night.

Don't put too much faith in the odometer reading of 21981 Miles- it has been round the clock at least once.
