Imported from Spokane, Washington, USA in 2014 by present owner. Previous owner purchased car in 2004 from Oregon. The car originally came from Canada.
Very rare Club Coupe body style. Last of the Flathead V8 engines. Fordomatic 3 speed transmission. 6V electrics with recent new Optima battery.
Previous owner had a no expense spared engine rebuild using a mercury crankshaft, recored the radiator, refurbished the transmission, fitted new brake components and had the bumpers rechromed to a high standard. Car has covered 5k miles since the rebuild. It has had a few bits of paintwork over the years but is mostly original with all brightwork in great condition.
Split exhaust system with Smithys mufflers. Original interior in excellent condition. Car has rare period internally adjustable wing mirror, original Ford Anniversary steering wheel and original valve radio in working order. All original glass in excellent condition. Firestone whitewalls all in very good condition.
Lowered 2" all round, with a smooth and comfortable ride. The car runs very well, keeps up with modern traffic and sounds great.
A lovely original example of a rare classic car.
