Ive owned a few of these over the years and bought her as I've always wanted the rare metallic black gtv6 ! Purchased in 2016 showing 4 owners and a low mileage of 58k with some service history. This car is completely original and not been messed around with, restored or freshened up for sale. She still wears her original jacking points, under seal and inner wings, which is unheard of on these cars.
The engine starts first time, runs very smoothly, a joy to listen too, without leaks or smoke. Gearbox changes smoothly.
Structurally this car is very good, as can be seen. The underside presents as original, so its all there to see. The factory underseal is starting to come away and been removed by myself in certain areas.
The rare metallic black paintwork presents well though there is surface rust in certain areas, however does not detract from how the car presents and adds to its originality.
Interior is beautiful tan with contrasting black, not a mark anywhere reflecting the low usage. The tan still holds good colour, so much of these have faded over the years.
Wheels, all 5 are newly refurbished with new Pirelli P6’s, wheel badges are present.
As soon as she was purchased, she I put her inside and she has remained there since. Id planned for a rolling restoration, however never really got round to it, all she’s had is a new radiator and fuel pump.
I was going to freshen up certain areas but I know myself as a buyer it would put me off, Id like to see I as is, so all is left to see. No mot or tax.
Im happy to say that being kept inside since I bought her has certainly preserved this car, she needs preservative treatment before being used really.
A rare opportunity to preferably keep as original.
