THE APPEAL
Porsche’s first iteration of the 955 Cayenne was their first attempt at entering the SUV market and it is safe to say that the 955 was a big hit with consumers. Its basic specification featured a 3.2 litre V6 engine that was capable of producing 250bhp via a six-speed Tiptronic gearbox.
This particular example is presented in great condition with full Porsche service history and lavish optional extras, such as a complete leather interior and metallic paintwork.

THE INTERIOR
- Original condition.
- Presented in very good condition throughout.
- Interior shows minimal signs of aging.
- The tan leather interior looks absolutely gorgeous.
- Three spoke steering wheel presents well with the Porsche badge front and centre.
- The switches and electronics within the vehicle are said to be working as they should.
- Excellent condition door cards, dash board and headlining with no marks, damage or discolouration that we noted.
- Carpet within the car is in nice condition with no notable signs of the carpet going threadbare, with the same to report in the boot, front and rear.
- The seats throughout the Porsche are in great condition with all sets showing no wear to the bolsters or cushions. Leather is still looking flat and matte as opposed to shiny, which indicates very low usage and it being well cared for.
- The steering wheel in particular has been reconditioned to ensure that it is looking its absolute best.
- An aftermarket Kenwood stereo system has been fitted in favour of the one OEM Porsche one.
- Overall, a well presented interior with minimal signs of wear.
- The car is dripping with leather and sued in all conceivable areas, leather steering, wheel, hand-stitched dash, leather door cards.
THE EXTERIOR
- Great condition paintwork, with no obvious signs of any imperfections such as scratches or flat paint.
- In the sunlight the metallic paintwork looks absolutely fantastic.
- That said, the overall presentation of the bodywork is excellent as you would expect.
- The front of the car is free from imperfections such as stone chips, with the lower front valance showing no defects, that we noticed.
- The body panels look nice and straight with no signs of damage or corrosion noticed.
- The alloy wheels would benefit from a refurb as all four are showing signs of damage.
- Nearside front door handle is missing a piece of trim.
- The Porsche badge on the front would benefit from being replaced.
- Rear of the car is clean and minimalist with no badges to note.
- There is a rear parking camera that has been fitted to the vehicle.
- The glass and sills are in overall good condition and are holding up well. No cracks or fading to report.
- Light lenses on the front of the vehicle are clear and free from fading or sun damage. The same can be said for the rear light clusters.
- Overall, the exterior presents well and is a testament to Porsche build quality.
THE MECHANICS
- Starts and runs well, with no reported mechanical issues to note.
- The gearbox is incredibly smooth. It slides into its required gates well with no crunching or grinding.
- The vendor tells us that it is really a great drive with very little being able to match the unique driving feel.
- The car has recently benefitted from a new Bosch battery as well as a replacement prop shaft.
- 3.2 litre V6 engine that is capable of producing 250BHP.
- 0-62 in under 10 seconds.
