The Appeal
Quickly after its resurrection in early 2003 the BMW 6 series nameplate had cemented itself as the go to choice for a quality modern grand tourer. Of course the 6 series had dominated this field in an earlier form, but a hiatus through the 1990s meant it had it all to do when reintroduced. Well styled, lavishly appointed, with a wonderful selection of engines to choose from the revitalised 6 series comfortably ticked all the boxes the discerning buyer would be looking for in a GT and was in no time back to its rightful place at the top of the ranks.
This 2006 convertible is presented in a wonderful specification with the rare and highly desirable 4.8 litre V8 engine. For avid BMW enthusiasts this is something of a dream car and for those looking for a quality modern classic grand tourer, a 650i of this calibre will most definitely take some beating.
