The Appeal
There are certain cars that sell themselves, and this is one of them, mainly down to the exclusivity of it. You certainly do not see these cars around. It is a fantastic opportunity to own a very rare car that will certainly be a hit with Proms and couples who are engaged and want to make an entrance on their big day.
'Big Ron' was purchased by the vendor a few years ago for £26,000 but has not been used since 2019 due to the arrival of Covid. While he is regularly driven around the yard, he has suffered from some cracking above the door pillar so may need some structural reinforcement work before being MOT'd again.

The History and Paperwork
- V5 Present
- MOT expired in 2020
- Various Bits of Paperwork
The Interior
- Lots of buttons, including partition close/opening Intercom and AUX control
- The glasses and drinks holders in the back are lovely and are in good condition
- The seats are nice and comfortable and don’t show any real signs of wear and tear
- Good sound system & DVD players for guests to enjoy
- Heated seats for the driver and passenger
- Sony Radio that works as it should
Dashboard is showing a signs of being worn but everything works as it should do. The heated seats are a nice little touch. The carpet, although very “snazzy” is worn and is tatty around the edging.
The Exterior
The car does look lovely in the associated “white-wedding” colours. There are a few points to mention. The bonnet doesn’t close fully, there is a crack on the “b pillar” and the doors have a few rust spots. We are told that the car may require welding underneath to the extended panels and therefore is being sold as spares or repair with no reserve.
The Mechanics
- 17” Alloys
The turbo engine sounds like it runs nicely on tick-over. There were no leaks or untoward noises during moving for photographing. There are no lights on the dashboard and the automatic gearbox seems to find the gears without hesitation.
Summary
Yes, this car requires a bit of work, however, don’t let that distract you from the fact that the car is a fantastically rare and interesting car. It is screaming out for a little bit of tlc to get it back on the road and back being an integral, memorable part of someone’s big day. “Big Ron” will continue to put smiles on peoples faces wherever he goes.
