Highlights
- Low mileage example
- Single owner from brand new

The Appeal
Criminally underrated - the Ford Puma is an absolutely fantastic drivers car, thanks to its tastefully paired lightweight and nimble chassis , its 1.7 litre Yamaha tuned engine, and thoroughly satisfying gearbox. It is, unarguably, one of the most enjoyable front wheel-drive vehicles to ever be chucked into the market.
This particular example has been owned by the current custodian since it was purchased brand new in 1999 from a Ford main dealership - another testament to how enjoyable these vehicles are to drive and live with. Meticulously serviced and taken care of throughout the years, leaving a nice trail of paperwork all the way back until 1999.

Summary
You'll be hard pushed to have more fun in any car at this price point. The light chassis paired with that famous Yamaha tuned 1.7L four cylinder makes for an absolutely hysteric driving experience, it can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it in a charismatic manner that just makes you want to drive it more and more.
This would be a fantastic runner for anyone, seeming to be mechanically sound, if needing a little TLC - it could even be an amazing restoration or track project for someone to take on given how fantastic the starting point would be. The opportunities in these Pumas are endless!
