HIGHLIGHTS
- Genuine 51,500 miles from new
- Full service history
- Amazingly lavish and luxurious
- Really smart example of the GTC in superb condition
THE APPEAL
Introduced in 2007, the GTC was the long-awaited convertible variant of Bentley’s thundersome Continental GT.
Based on the same platform and sharing its thumping 552bhp twin-turbocharged W12 engine, the GTC was Bentley’s open-top flagship, as lavish as it was lively. Today, it has to be one of the most incredible luxury convertibles going – finely engineered and opulently equipped, you can now enjoy the finest in motoring for a fraction of the original six-figure purchase price.
This one has to be one of the best GTCs on the market right now thanks to its low mileage, having covered just over 51,500 miles from new in the hands of four owners, and having been maintained by main dealers for most of its life. It’s a remarkably smart and well-presented example that has been flawlessly maintained.
The car was purchased by the vendor last summer, specifically to use for a European touring holiday, but a larger vehicle is required for this summer’s road trip, so the GTC has to go.

THE INTERIOR
- Gorgeous Ochre leather
- Piano Black highlights
- Lavishly luxurious
- Excellent condition
Opulence is the name of the game here, and once you step inside, the GTC is every inch the luxury GT you expect it to be. It has Ochre leather sports seats and matching dash, with Piano Black highlights and infills, all in glorious, as-new condition.
It’s supremely comfortable and sumptuously equipped, with no major problems or signs of wear. All of the dials and controls work as they should, including the central infotainment system and climate control, while other premium features include double glazing, cruise control, adjustable drive and damper settings and satellite navigation. A set of factory Bentley floor mats completes the prestigious overall picture.
THE EXTERIOR
- Beluga black
- Excellent throughout
- Seven-spoke 20-inch alloys
- Flawless power-operated roof
Beluga Black is one of the smartest colours for the GTC and manages to hide the car’s enormous bulk quite cleverly, the rounded lines and discreet colour making it appear smaller in the photos than it is in the metal.
It’s in great condition, with no notable damage or deterioration to the car’s bodywork at all and only some very minor stone chips to the front end. The headlight lenses – often an issue with Bentleys of this era – are crystal clear and the chrome trim and mesh grille are in great condition.
The underside appears fine with no evidence of structural corrosion and the power-operated roof works flawlessly.
THE MECHANICS
- 6.0-litre W12
- Regularly serviced
- Drives beautifully
The Bentley’s 552bhp twin-turbo W12 engine, developed from two VW V6s, is an incredible feat of engineering and sounds like nothing else when you open it up, yet at idle it’s so refined that its barely audible.
It has been serviced regularly by a mixture of main dealers and independents and appears to be in fine health, holding a steady temperature and a smooth idle.
The vendor says that the car drives without fault and is very powerful, with no reported or known issues with the brakes, suspension or steering.
SUMMARY
This is a wonderful example of one of the most luxurious open-top GTs that money can buy, presented in absolutely fantastic order, with a deep shine and barely any marks or signs of exterior wear.
It’s a phenomenal amount of car for the money – but then so it should be as it was over £175,000 when new. Now’s your chance to own one of the finest cars ever made for a fraction of that price, and in absolutely glorious condition to boot…
