Highlights
- Good condition interior
- Well cared for example
- A sporty family SUV perfect for long trips and holidays
The Appeal
The first generation of Cayenne (955) is often claimed to be the saviour of the Porsche name, and the original sporty SUV. In fact, not only did it boost the Stuttgart brand’s income tenfold, it also showed motorists that a large, practical off-road-capable machine could also feature impressive performance and dynamic handling characteristics.
Even in its base 3.2 V6 specification, as is the case for this particular 2006 model, the Cayenne can complete the 0-60mph sprint in under ten seconds thanks to its 250hp. It does this all whilst being able to carry an entire family to the mountains for a ski season getaway.
With a reportedly healthy service history and presentable looks, it seems this example has been cared for well during its near-20-year lifespan. Finally, it is also completed in a desirable specification featuring the optional opening sunroof and metallic paint.

Some signs of wear are apparent throughout the bodywork, but the interior is certainly in very good condition. During its life, the car has reportedly been serviced at regular intervals and it is said to drive very well.
