THE APPEAL
Two-seater open-top sports cars don’t come much better than this. The affordable Porsche Boxster S continues the legendary build quality of it’s sibling’s and is without doubt a tried and tested car you can enjoy everyday.
The unmistakable sounding 3.2-litre flat-six boxer engine provides brisk performance with a 0-60 time of around 5.5 seconds, and along with the perfectly balanced chassis and fine handling, offers an intoxicating drive.
From new, this particular Boxster S was purchased with a host of optional extras at a cost of over £6,000 and we can see from the well documented paper trail that, mechanically speaking, it has been regularly serviced by Porsche specialists.
This beautiful example also looks very seductive in metallic Midnight Blue and has clearly led a pampered life. It also benefits from a recent suspension rebuild, a new insulated hood and lighting upgrades to keep it on form and up to date.
