The Background
First introduced to the motoring public in 1997 the E46 was the 4th generation of the renowned and ever-popular BMW 3 Series. Available in a variety of body styles and engines one of the sweetest versions was the 325i with its super-smooth and powerful straight 6-cylinder engine.
A dynamic and responsive driver’s car with excellent build quality the E46 3 Series is certainly a modern day classic that comes with built-in reliability and great looks as standard.

The History
One of the last E46 3 Series to be made, this car was specially ordered in Samoa Metallic paintwork with Exclusive Nappa leather Comfort electrically operated and heated seats.
Owned by one lady owner for 15 years the car was purchased by the current owner 18 months ago who has recently fitted brand new Continental tyres all round and had it fully serviced and the air-con recharged.
Since purchase it has only done around 4,000 miles and is now offered for auction ready for the next owner to enjoy for the Spring and Summer.

The Paperwork
The V5c is present showing only 2 owners and the car comes with a full BMW service history and a current MOT which expires in January 2023.
There are 4 keys and a full set of original owner’s handbooks and manuals.
The Interior
The beige leather and wood interior is in exceptionally fine condition throughout with hardly a mark or sign of any use or wear to be found anywhere.
Everything works as it should except for an intermittent fault on the passenger door mirror, which doesn’t always return from the tilt position after reversing.
The electric roof mechanism works perfectly, there are front and rear parking sensors and the car benefits from a recently fitted 9” screen Xtrons radio upgrade for hands free phone use and much much more.
The Exterior
Other than a slight scuff on one of those fabulous looking body-colour alloys, some stone chips at the front of the car and a small scratch on the rear driver’s wing and on the rear bumper, it’s hard to find fault with this stunning looking 3 Series.
The Samoa Metallic paintwork is in great shape and the car also features the factory badge delete option keeping the engine size a secret. The soft top looks like it has some slight degradation of the beading at the edge by the driver’s door but otherwise appears to be in very good condition with no creases or rips anywhere.
The Mechanics
With a full BMW service history and a full service only 4,000 miles ago the mechanics of this car appear to be in very good shape. It is reported to start, run and drive well, with everything working exactly as it should.
Under the bonnet there is a cracked air-box but this doesn’t affect the smooth running of the car at all and is merely cosmetic.
The Appeal
This is a very nice, last of the E46, 3 Series in a great and unusual colour with a great service history, 2 owners, very low mileage and a convertible electric roof.
It’s also a very useable modern day classic with legendary performance, road holding and reliability.
