HIGHLIGHTS
- Italian hot hatch with legendary Busso V6 engine

THE APPEAL
When Alfa Romeo launched the 147 hatchback in 2000, no one could have foreseen the day when the small family car would have a 3.2 litre V6 crammed under the hood. And so the GTA was born. Looking back now it seems insane to shoehorn such a large engine into a front wheel drive car like the 147. But today we petrolheads can step back and applaud Alfa for taking such a bold move. The GTA hails from an era when litres meant everything, all packed in a stylish Italian body that looks great today. The 147 GTA on sale here with Car and Classic is a fine example of the Italian hot hatch and is finished in stunning factory pearlescent white paint.

- The seller notes that the 147 GTA received a major service in 2021, which included the timing belts and water pump

SUMMARY
This 2004 Alfa Romeo 147 GTA looks absolutely stunning in Nuvola White and makes a refreshing change from the more common Alfa red. It is a real head turner which is further enhanced by what is arguably one of the finest production V6 engines ever made. This 147 GTA is a rare car, one that has aged superbly. And it has used sparingly by its enthusiast owners. With the wheels refurbished this Italian hot hatch could easily win awards on the show circuit.
