THE HISTORY
Only three owners since 2003 all in the UK, with the current having ownership since 2020. Garaged mainly in the last few years and only enjoyed on occasion the car has only covered 5,000 miles in the last decade and less than 1,500 in the last two.
THE PAPERWORK
Supplied with the vehicle is a good record of service and mechanical history, mostly with Mercedes or a specialist. The latest work was carried out in August 2021 by a German performance car specialist.
Original book pack with service book, manuals and original price list are all present, as well as original and current V5c.

THE EXTERIOR
The SL is aesthetically gorgeous, a real testament to the early 2000’s powerful AMG’s and this specific vehicle is a fine example of a fine car. The familiar Brilliant Silver metallic paint is complemented by the 5 spoke SL65 19’’ AMG alloys, all of which are unmarked and wrapped in Continental rubber.
Roof down the car looks even better, you can only imagine how good it feels to drive this thing, roof down as the thunderous V8 pops and crackles.

THE INTERIOR
Inside the car, the quality continues. Black leather seats and dash are present, it's stereotypically sensible. Only a few subtle signs of the cars AMG DNA are visible, a logo on the seats, mats and instrument are the only highlights of the cars potential. It’s a very nice place to be, comfortable too.
THE MECHANICS
The car was manoeuvred and started a few times during our visit, each time the V8 roared and idled confidently. The supplied history, recent work and MOT records should give any future owner peace of mind that this car will go on tearing up tarmac for years to come.
THE APPEAL
Brand new, this car came with a £90,000 price tag and for good reason. In its time, this car was groundbreaking, one of the most powerful vehicles available in the early 2000’s, the 5.4L supercharged V8 produced a face shredding 493hp, making this two seater sports car a supercar destroyer. It's an engineering masterpiece available for the price of a 3 year old diesel C Class .
