The Appeal
When Audi reflected on its heritage to create the original TT, it created a car that achieved the remarkable feat of looking back to the past whilst simultaneously looking forward. The flowing lines referenced the original NSU RO80 but they clothed the technology of a very modern car.
The 225bhp 1.8litre turbocharged TT with Quattro 4WD delivered slingshot performance on the straights and limpet-like grip in the corners. It was instantly popular and a convertible version was quickly added to the range to broaden the appeal even further.
This 2001 225bhp convertible is tastefully finished in Steppengras metallic but the interior hides a surprise - there you’ll find the very sought-after Optic Brown ‘baseball’ leather interior. With a full service history, highly detailed maintenance record and long MOT, this looks like a great example of a car that currently has growing appeal to classic enthusiasts.

This well maintained Roadster is the desirable 225bhp Quattro version finished in fetching Steppengras with that surprise and delight ‘baseball’ interior. Recently serviced and MOT’d it is highly presentable and for enthusiasts of these great little cars, or anyone after a capable convertible, it looks very enticing.
