- Fantastic Aston Martin V12 engine
The Appeal
Aston Martin has always been known for producing some of the best looking and most stylish cars and we think that the DB7 Vantage ranks amongst the marques best. Finished in Siler it’s a car that looks simply gorgeous from every angle. The stunning good looks of the outside are matched by what has to be one of the best looking interiors seen in a car of this era. But the DB7 offers much more than mere aesthetic pleasures, the looks are backed up by a fantastic 6l V12 that kicks out a punchy 420hp, making this grand tourer more than a little exciting to drive.
It’s clear to see from when you first lay eyes on it that this DB7 has been exceptionally well cared for and it has the low mileage and history to back up that initial impression. With just a smidge over 22k on the clock and having been kept garaged it presents excellently throughout. The DB7 Vantage is a classic example of a great British GT car and this one is as good as they come.

The Interior
- Fantastic condition throughout

- Black leather and walnut burr trim presents superbly
- Black carpeting presents excellently throughout
- Seat bolsters in excellent condition with only the slightest signs of wear to the drivers side
- Rear seats appear all but unused
- Grey headlining presents as new
It’s hard to think, given how good the exterior looks, how the interior of the DB7 could live up to the expectations set by the outside, but it really does. From the walnut burr trim on the centre console, doors and dashboard to the elegant instrument cluster, the interior of the Vantage is superbly designed and built to the highest quality.
The black leather bucket seats are comfortable whilst providing excellent levels of support in all directions (which you’ll want given the 420bhp V12 up front) and are in excellent condition with only the very lightest signs of use showing on the bolsters. The gorgeous centre console, clean-cut instrument cluster, door cards, carpeting and trim all present excellently. The DB7 interior is something special and thanks to low mileage and careful ownership this one is in fantastic condition throughout.
The Exterior
- Fantastic looking car from any angle
- Finished in metallic silver
- Original alloy wheels in superb condition
- Paintwork in excellent condition
- Badges, light lenses, windows and trim all present excellently
The DB7 Vantage is a fantastic looking car, a brilliant example of classic, modern GT styling that still looks good 22 years later. The Aston’s design is sleek, elegant and sporty whilst maintaining the distinctive looks the marque is known for.
As with the interior, the exterior of the DB7 is in excellent condition. The silver paintwork is in excellent condition and there really is very little visible to give away the age of this car. All of the trim, light lenses, windows and badges present beautifully and this is a car that really needs to be seen to be able to appreciate just how good it looks.
The Mechanics
- Superb 6 litre V12 engine that sounds fantastic
- Automatic gearbox
- Long MOT
- Engine bay and underside present extremely well
- The owner informs us that it drives perfectly
- Waxoyled underneath by the current owner
- Starts easily and idles smoothly
As with the rest of this car it’s clear to see that it has been very well looked after mechanically. As it has only covered 22k miles it has had little work done. It has stamps up to 18,000 miles (main dealer with one specialist) and has had the battery replaced in 2020. Both the engine bay and the underside of the car appear to be in the same excellent condition as the rest of the car.
The car starts easily on a push of the button and when the big V12 springs to life it’s impossible not to smile. It sounds fantastic through the twin exhaust and even better when the revs pick up. The owner informs us that the car drives exactly as it should, accelerating very well, shifting smoothly and stopping quickly in a straight line.
Summary
The DB7 Vantage is a car that offers it all; a thrilling V12 in a gorgeous GT body, fantastic looks, an elegant and comfortable interior and the quality and finish Aston Martin is known for, on top of all of this this DB7 benefits from exceptionally low mileage and full service history. This is one you won’t want to miss.
