The Appeal
Finished in a suitably menacing shade of Obsidian Black, this R129 looks smart, suave and sophisticated. It has clearly been well cared for and has recently been treated to a machine polish and wax to bring it up to a high standard of finish.
Inside, the cabin is a sumptuously appointed place to be, with cream leather and recently serviced climate control providing sterling service to keep the occupants comfortable.
This SL 280 comes with extensive service history and no MOT advisories, having been serviced by Mercedes-Benz dealers and specialists. It is now presented in good overall condition, looking considerably less than its 22 years of age.
