The Appeal
If you wanted to take your Jaguar XKR to the next level, both in terms of performance and looks, then Paramount were the people to talk to. This 1999 example rolled into their workshop in 2001, and just over £21,000 later, it emerged with around 450bhp and a raft of other upgrades: Paramount uprated the exhaust system, lowered the suspension with revised geometry, as well as equipping it with a brake upgrade by AP Racing, adjustable steering weighting, carbon fibre front and rear fairings and aluminium side sill sponsons.
The car has been cherished ever since, remaining in good order and apparently running well. Between 2014 and 2017, we’re informed that around £5,000 worth of recommissioning work was required and it remains in very good usable condition today.
If this kind of performance in the suave Jaguar XKR appeals, then don’t miss this fine example.
