Still a classy and well-equipped luxury 4x4 this P38 has been converted to run on LPG for much greater economy, which is not a phrase you’ll normally find in a sentence that includes the words Range Rover.
It’s recently been converted from the troublesome air suspension to coils and new shock absorbers all round. The car runs and drives nicely, and although it’s a bit tired cosmetically, if you’re in the market for a Range Rover that needs some tidying up, read on.SkyfZb0hHA42HapTHjFMk0bgbItsgVQichG6NsoL.jpeg350.74 KB

The current owner has owned the Range Rover for the last few years during which time he has used it lightly and regularly. Just prior to his ownership the LPG system was renewed and updated and it has recently been converted to run on coil springs.
The HSE comes with a spacious and luxury interior with plenty of wood and leather, it’s well equipped, air-conditioned and is an extremely comfortable car to travel in.
This one needs some work to tidy it up, a few switches are broken and or missing and the driver’s seat and the headlining need some attention too, but the passenger and rear seats are in pretty good shape
The interior trim on the pillars are a bit miscoloured but the wood inserts dashboard and centre console are all good, with all electrics and switches working.
The dark grey Range Rover initially looks impressive with alloy wheels, side steps and privacy glass. As you get closer you can see that the paintwork isn’t perfect and there are a few areas that may need some attention.
A few panels are quite faded in places and some of the door frames have discoloured, there are also some other small bumps, scrapes and stone chips too as is illustrated in the photos.
Bought with no real service history the car has proved a reliable and excellent car for its regular use commuting, and some long-haul trips to the Scottish highlands during his ownership.
Lifting the bonnet reveals a clean and well-maintained engine bay, which shows no signs of any oil or coolant leaks.
The car is reported to run and drive very nicely with no issues to advise or report.
The P38 Range Rover is another iconic Land Rover now certainly regarded as a genuine and collectable classic car, with prices rising all the time.
With its high HSE specification, leather and wood interior, it’s a model that will always be in demand, and of course it delivers that very unique and special Range Rover driving pleasure.
