The Appeal
Introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the iconic R107, it was fair to say that the R129 had quite a job ahead of itself. It’s perhaps just as well that Mercedes-Benz were still bringing their A-game. The new model was simply superb all-round, carrying on the German brand’s expertise in build quality, comfort and performance.
This example, presented in a charming colour of Imperial Red, is highly original throughout, with a fresh MOT and newly refurbished wheels. That makes this a charming modern classic that’s bound to turn heads on the road.
