The Appeal
Suave, well appointed, a true gentleman's automobile. The Daimler nameplate has been proudly bestowed upon the front of some truly special cars, and perhaps one of the most coveted is the exceptional XJ40. The standard Jaguar model in its own right is a rather splendid car but the Daimler does a marvellous job of turning everything up to 11.
Something of a timewarp example, this 1994 XJ40 is in truly fine form having been under careful ownership of one elderly gentleman for some considerable time. With just over 60 thousand miles on the clock and a comprehensive stamped service history, this retro executive express is undoubtedly a great example of the legendary model.

Summary
The XJ40 is finally starting to garner the appreciation as a classic it has always so greatly deserved. Well styled, well equipped and genuinely usable, it's a truly great model which with its Daimler nameplates on, becomes something very special indeed.
Increasingly rare, Daimler XJ40s seldom come to market, especially of a quality such as this particular example. Low mileage, well documented history and a desirable specification, this car comfortably ticks all the boxes one looks for in an executive cruiser.
