The Appeal

The W124 era Mercedes really can be seen as the marque’s golden child. Stylish, well equipped and with the robust, longevity of a piece of agricultural machinery, whilst still retaining a lavish outward appearance and refined driving experience. The W124 gave Mercedes a reputation and a client list other brands could only dream of and still commands respect as one of the all time great automobile platforms.
This 1992 260e is a very special car indeed. Exceptionally well preserved, this gem has been owned by the same family since original purchase in 1992, and comes with a wealth of history, dating right the way back through the car’s lifetime. After a light mechanical refresh the Mercedes is now in great all round order and must undoubtedly be one of the finest and certainly most interesting 260s on the market today.
