The Appeal
Introduced in 1985, it’s fair to say that the Bentley Turbo R is one of the best-performing modern classics from the folks at Crewe. Boasting exceptional handling - indeed, the ‘R’ stands for ‘Roadholding’ - and a meaty 6.75L Turbocharged V8 powerplant, these were lauded as the cream of the crop in the 80s and 90s, quickly muscled out its predecessor from the market and dominated the brand’s sales charts with minimal effort.
With those classic lines, that sumptuous luxury and all of that power under the hood, it shouldn’t be any surprise. They were and still are exceptionally appointed machines, that hold their own on the modern network with immaculate tact.
This example has led a charmed life, with exceptionally low mileage and a cosseted history that’s left it in fine stead. The owner proudly proclaims it’s wanted for nothing and has been consistently preened, which we’re sure will reflect throughout. A rare opportunity!
