The Appeal
There are few cars in the world that have captured the hearts of so many in quite the same way as the Mini. It’s charming, fun, stylish and undeniably cool, with no car since having ever come close to matching such an impressive legacy.
Whilst the Mini is of course still in production today, the very essence and characteristics of what made the the model one of the most iconic and loved cars the world has ever seen, has long been lost, with Mini enthusiasts suggesting that the last time it was seen, was in those glorious late 90s Rover Minis, much like the one we have here.
J820 PPR sits proudly as one of the last carburettor equipped factory Minis before the model was moved over to injection. A genuine factory Cooper, this is certainly a rare car, that comes to us fresh from a full respray and in fine mechanical and aesthetic fettle. If you’re looking for an unquestionably stylish, but utterly reliable classic car that can be used daily but is more than at home on display at a show, look no further.

Summary
A real celebration of the original style Mini. Something to get buyers queueing through the door. These later Minis were absolutely packed to the rafters and made to be as best as they possibly could be by Rover and examples such as this really make a great case in point.
In its deep black splendour this rare 1991 genuine Cooper presents marvellously and is a real testament to the few careful ownership it has had throughout the years. In great mechanical and aesthetic order this one lends itself marvellously to regular use or as a wonderful showpiece that, unlike so many classics, can be comfortably driven to and from the shows, no matter how far away they are.
