The Appeal
Designed for the Japanese 90s nostalgia boom, the Nissan Figaro is a quirky car that sought period aesthetics with reliable, modern running gear. The demand was massive - 20,000 total vehicles were manufactured, and were allocated according to a lottery draw, making them increasingly scarce sights in Western territories. Beloved and - let’s face it - just outright cute, these cars continue to be highly sought after.
This example is an original Japanese model, imported to the UK in 2005. In its current ownership the engine has been rebuilt, treated with new spark plugs and has been recovered with a new roof and trims. The result is a fantastic example of the iconic little car.
