The Appeal
The fun-sized iconic classic that really needs no introduction, the Cooper is a bookmark in automotive history thanks to its useful versatility as well as the unmatched go-kart-like handling that it provided. To this day - they remain some of the funnest cars you’re able to get your hands on, and what colour better to have it in than its iconic tartan red with white stripes?
This particular example was purchased brand new by the previous owner, originally buying the car for his wife who used it sparingly, keeping it stowed away in a dry garage whenever it was not in use. In 2006 she acquired the newer shape and the charming little Cooper S sat unused until the current custodian decided to stick an MOT on it just a couple of months ago and enjoy it like it’s meant to be!
