THE APPEAL
Now here’s a car you don’t see everyday - and in this condition - it really is a prime example of a true survivor. This one-owner 5-door hatchback BX has covered just over 36,000 miles, and is fantastic inside and out.
The BX design was a break from the past and yet still offered individual styling, hydraulic suspension and lively performance. Positioned to compete in the mass-market, we all remember the advertising strap-line; ‘Loves driving, hates garages’.
Presented in fetching Silver Moss paintwork, the lightweight body is in excellent order with no obvious scratches or dings and the interior is perfectly original and looks virtually new.
The naturally-aspirated XUD powered 1.9D engine has great torque, is brisk enough, and should return a healthy 45 plus mpg.
After many years gliding along, the car has recently been dry stored in a garage by the elderly owner and is now ready for it’s second loving custodian.
