The Appeal
Design philosophy, engineering integrity, craftsmanship, the finest materials, comprehensive specification and tradition all play their part in maintaining the Rolls Royce reputation of being the best cars in the world, and a uniquely satisfying car to own and drive.
With only 2 owners from new and a good service history this very nicely presented Silver Spur II has the extra-long wheelbase for even greater comfort and space in the rear of the car.
The History and Paperwork
- First registered in 1990
- Regularly maintained by Seymour & Curd
- Inherited by the current owner in 2003
- Very little use since importation
- History confirms low mileage
- MOT till 06/07/23
- V5c present showing 2 UK owners
- 3 sets of keys
- Spare wheel and tools
Since inheriting the car nearly 20 years ago the car has been maintained and serviced regularly by an independent Rolls Royce specialist who can be contacted to vouch for the mechanical prowess and condition of this very lovely Rolls Royce. Sadly not much in the way of paperwork or invoices relating to the work remain.
The Interior
- Luxurious leather interior
- Cream leather with contrasting blue piping and carpets
- Climate control
- Heated seats
- Extensive burr walnut throughout with rear picnic tables
The luxurious and well-appointed cream leather cabin is very welcoming and in really good condition throughout, still having that wonderful real leather smell from the high quality leather, plenty of wood panelling and deep pile carpets.
The interior is hard to fault and shows very little sign of any wear and tear, with only a small scratch to the passenger door handle worth mentioning, probably caused by passengers nails or jewellery.
Air Conditioning, power steering and electric windows are all featured on this car and everything is reported to be working, except for the cruise control, which works intermittently.
The boot is carpeted and clean and houses the spare wheel, toolset and jack.
The Exterior
- Cobalt Blue metallic with Cream vinyl roof
- Excellent alloy wheels
- Excellent original condition
With its original paint in cobalt Blue Metallic with a contrasting vinyl roof the Rolls Royce looks spectacular and presents itself very well indeed.
There are some very minor imperfections and the odd stone chip to be found in the paintwork and a small dent in the driver’s door but the brightwork is all still nice and shiny and everything looks as it should.
The doors close with that reassuring sound of a quality car and the wheels are all nice too, with only one of the stylish hubcaps showing some slight corrosion.
The Mechanics
- Fully serviced recently
- MOT till July 2023
- Regularly driven and maintained
The engine starts easily and willingly and provides ample silky-smooth power and acceleration through its automatic gearbox, with no known mechanical or other issues to report, driving superbly and being ready to drive away.
Always cared for by either a main dealer or specialist the car is presented in all-round excellent mechanical condition.
The Summary
With its low verified mileage, only two owners, service history and being presented in such excellent all-round original condition and very nice colours, this is an opportunity to experience everything that this refined and exquisite Rolls Royce has to offer first hand.
