The Appeal
The hot hatchback is perhaps more popular than it has ever been, and rightly so, has cemented itself as a pivotal part of the modern automotive world. But where did it all start? With three all important, rather infamous letters, GTI.
When it first came to market the Golf GTI turned heads and changed the scope of performance cars for “the everyman”. Stylish, practical and astoundingly quick, the GTI really did change the game and some 8 generations later, is still seen as the benchmark for what a hot hatch should be.
This second generation MK2 Golf, is an exceptional example of the coveted nameplate, presenting in highly original condition and having been under the ownership of the current vendor or their close family since the 1990s, this well preserved pocket rocket, will make a wonderful addition to any collection or will be equally at home as a retro daily driver.

Something of a genesis for the hot hatch, the Golf excited minds and B-roads for anyone who drove one, and this second generation model still possesses that kindred spirit. Raw, cool, practical, and above all else fun.
Benefiting from an extensive overhaul, a thorough history file and in well preserved aesthetic and mechanical condition. G306 STA will be a welcome piece of automotive nostalgia for its next loving owner.
