Highlights
- Just 41,242 miles indicated, supported by the MOT history
- Presented in very good overall condition
- A really original example
- Reportedly driving very well
The Appeal
Replacing the long lived and much loved original XJ, the XJ40 brought Jaguar’s saloon right up to date, with geometric exterior styling and a contemporary interior. Higher specced models were badged as Daimlers and we’re delighted to offer one such example.
Presented in fantastic and largely original condition, this 1988 example has apparently covered a mere 41,242 miles since new and has evidently been cherished throughout its life. The vendor acquired the car from a collector in 2022, who had reportedly carried out some recommissioning work. We’re informed that it runs impeccably and drives well, with no issues to report. The cabin electrics are apparently all working as they should, including the cruise control, and there’s very little wear to the upholstery considering its age.
If you’re looking for an original and well looked after XJ40, then we can certainly recommend this Daimler.
