The Interior

• Overall, this 2CV’s interior is very clean and tidy 
• Diamond-stitched velour covers the seats and remains in good condition
• The front seats show a little use, with the covers being slightly loose
• Stout rubber matting covers the floors and appears to be newly installed
• Simple instrument cluster comprising speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer
• Dashboard mounted gearstick and handbrake lever
• Convenient storage shelf in front of the front passengers
• An air flap below the windscreen can be opened for ventilation 
• The roof rolls back for open-air motoring
• Front passengers are provided with three-point seatbelts
• Lap bents for the rear passengers
• The door cards are in very good condition, but some of the door seals could do with being refitted
•  To the rear, the boot is spacious and very tidy
• The vendor tells us that the boot lock could benefit from being adjusted
• A full size spare wheel is provided and in excellent condition 

The Exterior 

• Bold red and white paintwork, available as an option on the Dolly model
• The paint is in generally very good condition throughout 
• There are a few marks, blemishes and cracks, notably on the scuttle below the air vent, and that the corners of some of the side windows
• The exterior trim looks good, with just a couple of. the door seals needing some attention
• Wiper blades recently replaced
• The car features charming fold-up side windows, with new catches fitted
• Red fabric roof in great condition
• The lamp lenses appear clear and bright
• Underneath, the car looks remarkably clean and tidy
• The steel wheels are superb, with excellent paint and smart chromed hubcaps
• They wear a set of five new Michelin X tyres
• The car has had a fog light fitted

The Mechanics 

• 602cc two-cylinder engine 
• The engine bay looks tidy
• The running gear appears to be very well presented
• The vendor informs that the following work has been carried out:
• Front suspension kingpins stripped and replaced 
• Driveshaft inner and outer boots stripped and replaced 
• Front brake pads and handbrake pads replaced
• Ignition lock/switch assembly stripped and replaced 
• New clutch fitted
