The Appeal
This stunning Kawasaki was an absolute monster in its day, boasting 108hp and capable of 140mph, this incredible transverse 4, classic motorcycle is quite something. It has very comfortable seating for a rider and pillion. It is a very heavy motorcycle, with a wet weight of 270kg. Kawasaki used the appellation “Super Touring” in regard to this motorcycle, and although this is a comfortable, shaft driven, all-day rideable bike, great amounts of performance are on tap with a twitch of the wrist. The frame is very strong and rigid, and was designed to keep the geometry very rigid for positive handling. The suspension was also designed to keep the bike planted and under control, while still offering plenty of adjustability for touring use and carrying luggage. Overall a very solid mix between sports and touring, this fine machine is a real gem.
